Intergenerational camping
Miss the days of camping with your kids? Why not take the
grandkids?
If sleeping on the hard ground and cooking over an open fire seems like too
much, check out Stratford Hall’s grandparent-grandchild camp, July 13-15.
Participants learn activities such as brick making, archaeology, 18th
century music and dancing, blacksmithing, open hearth cooking and more. The
camp is recommended for children ages 8 to 12. There’s no age limit for
grandparents!
The camps include comfortable accommodations in the Cheek and Astor guest
houses, all meals and activities.
